I am a believer that learning never stops. I graduated from the University of Georgia with an Undergraduate degree in Psychology. I continued to further my education once I became a teacher to complete my Masters in Education in Curriculum Instruction and Assessment from Walden University. I also completed my Education Specialists in Teacher Leadership from Walden University. I have been teaching for 15 years. During that span of 15 years I taught middle school grades 6 and 8 for 9 years in the areas of Social Studies. I have been teaching high school for 6 years in the areas of History. I am certified in Georgia to teach grades 4-12. My favorite subject to teach is AP Government and Politics. I thoroughly enjoy teaching US History as well. I find that once you build a solid and continuous rapport with your student, they will respect you and want to learn from you. I like to refer to myself as a knowledge sharer and not just a teacher. I think that students and teachers can learn from each other and it is important to build that relationship.
