I wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember! I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education with a Reading Endorsement from the University of Akron. I went on to earn my Master's degree from Kent State University in Clinical Mental Health. In addition to being a teacher, I am a licensed therapist. I currently work with students in grades K-5. I taught 3rd grade (8 years), kindergarten, and preschool.I enjoy working with students in all grade levels and have discovered, no matter the student's grade level they all have something special to offer and great potential to learn. I understand that not all students learn the same way and have found success helping students to understand how they learn best. I think it is important to understand how a student learns before you can effectively teach the student.

I am currently a student at Syracuse University studying finance and accounting. For the past few years, I have been a teacher at a school, and I love working with children! I have also tutored math for 6 years. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing football, and trying new things!

I'm a senior at Vanderbilt majoring in neuroscience and psychology with a minor in creative writing. I've been tutoring since the beginning of high school for lots of ages in all types of math, science, and writing. I love meeting new people and adapting my teaching style to fit the student's needs.

I am a current student at the University of Louisville working towards my Bachelor's degree (majoring in Biology with a minor in Sociology). My hopes are to progress beyond that to medical school. I am an alumni of Elizabethtown High School, where I also worked for three years as a tutor in the local Homework Help program. After graduation, I then took a gap year, and assisted with tutoring K-5 kids at G.C. Burkhead Elementary School. Teaching is one of my greatest passions! As a student growing up, I've always struggled with wanting to be the best while not knowing how to handle the pressures that schooling sometimes brings for children. By the time I reached my teens, I learned how to change one of my greatest struggles into one of my greatest assets.
