Education is my life! If I am not teaching then I am usually immersed in learning a new topic, skill, or hobby. Although I have worked in just about every area of education from summer camps to coaching, I formally began my journey by attaining my Bachelors Degree in Secondary English Education (Gr. 6-12). I discovered how much I loved working with younger students and went on to get my Masters Degree in Elementary Education (K-6 all subjects) from the University of Central FL.Since then I have worked as a 3rd and 5th grade classroom teacher as well as a specialist intervention teacher for reading and math for K-8. I am passionate about helping students develop a love of learning as well as a positive outlook on their own education.I also enjoy outdoor activities and yoga in my (very limited) free time. Cooking and spending time with family is also enjoyable for me.
