I'm a writer and editor with a passion for learning that I love to share -- I've been told my tag line should be "let's find out!" I'm a native Austinite, but I lived in New York while I got my Bachelor's in Comparative Literature and minored in Linguistics. After I graduated I moved back home to Austin and got my Masters in Global Policy Studies at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT. Now I'm in Fort Worth, with an MBA I picked up along the way (also from UT Austin) -- apparently I can't stay out of school for long.

I am currently a student at Rice University studying both History and Neuroscience. Being the oldest of five kids, working with younger students has always been a part of my life. I can tutor a wide variety of subjects, but I specialize in writing, public speaking, and test taking. My goal for every tutoring session is to give students large-scale takeaways that they can apply in their academic future, maximizing the efficiency of every session.

Hi y'all! I hold my Master of Science in Psychology of Sport and my Bachelor of Science in both Psychology and Applied Human and Sport Physiology. I have many years of tutoring under my belt, working with people of all levels from elementary school through college in hard science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics), a few social sciences (History, Psychology, Economics), and language arts. When not tutoring, I love playing soccer and I even coach a youth team. I love encouraging students to learn, grow, and think critically for themselves.

I am qualified to tutor many subjects, my favorite subject by far is math, specifically calculus. Math is a subject almost universally hated, and I believe that is mainly due to the narrow way in which it is taught. I have ADHD, and I often don't understand things the first time they are explained to me, meaning over the years I have had to figure out different ways of looking at information. Oftentimes, all a student needs is for something to be explained in a different way, and I love watching people finally understand a concept. Everyone learns differently, but everyone can learn.

Hello! I am a certified high school math teacher based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I've been passionate about education since I began volunteering as a peer tutor in high school. Since 2022, I've worked with Varsity Tutors, supporting students of all ages in math, English, and college test prep. I have experience working in the classroom, though I am back to working full-time as a private tutor starting July 2026. I graduated with Honors from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Psychology. In high school, I completed 14 AP courses, earning college credit and top scores, including a 5 in AP English Language and a 4 in AP Calculus AB. I've worked with students across the U.S. and internationally, giving me broad experience with diverse learning styles and standardized exams. I also have experience in special education, especially with Autism and ADHD. My goal is to build confidence, strengthen understanding, and help every student reach their full potential.
