Hello! My name is Thomas, and I am a first-year medical student attending Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. I am originally from the Chicago suburbs and graduated from the University of Michigan in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Biomolecular Science. During 2020-2021, I remained in Ann Arbor for a year, working as a research technician to gain experience and strengthen my future application. For 2021-2022, I returned home to Chicago and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago for a year before beginning medical school in July 2022.I have been passionate about tutoring since high school, where I helped classmates and grade school students all four years. In college, I continued to tutor grade school and high school students via Skype, so I am very comfortable with both in-person and virtual tutoring. My strongest subjects in school have always been math and the sciences, which I have been tutoring for over eight years now. Outside the classroom, I love to stay active, whether playing sports or running with my dog. I am a doctor and I graduated from med school in 2016 and then took my USMLE exams .I have cleared all my USMLE exams and hoping to apply for residency this year.
