I am currently a fourth year medical student at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and graduated Suma Cum Laude from Yeshiva College with a BA in Biology and Music. As a Writing Center tutor, I worked with undergraduate and graduate students looking to improve their writing, and have also tutored Regents-level biology and chemistry. Most recently, I tutored for Kaplan, teaching an MCAT preparatory course and working one-on-one with students. When not studying, I like to ride my bike, train Taekwondo, play blues guitar (or bass, or piano, or saxophone, or drums), and read a good book.

I am here to support students in navigating and understanding STEM topics. I have been a tutor for nearly 3 years and I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from The Pennsylvania State University. I'm a rising junior at Harvard College. I study African American Studies with a secondary in Women's Studies and I am pursuing a language citation in Spanish. I aspire to one day go to business school. When I am not doing work, I can typically be found reading, writing, or dancing.

I am a recent graduate and current graduate student from Cornell University. I received my Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Biology and Society with a concentration in Health and Humanities and a minor in Nutritional Sciences. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Public Health concentrating in Food Systems and Health. During my undergrad, I cofounded an organization called Cornell College and Career Readiness Initiative (CCRI). I am still actively involved in this program serving as a mentor and tutor for local high school students in SAT prep, high school English, Math and Science courses, and in college essay writing/admissions.

I am currently in my 10th year of teaching for the New York City Department of Education, and have taught English to a broad range of students across various grades and academic settings (general, self-contained, Collaborative Team Teaching, and Resource Room). At the moment, I teach English Literature to 9th, 10th, and 11th graders.

I am a recent master student from Columbia university. I graduated with a Masters in International Affairs. I have worked at the United Nations, European Parliament, and for a State Senator. My passion is political science and history. I am eager to help students develop their writing skills while deepening their understanding of history.

I am a lifelong learner with an academic background in language and literature, and, before that, in mathematics. I pride myself on having strong problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to share what I know with others.

I am a graduate of UCLA with a major in Physiological Science and a minor in Spanish. This past year, I worked in a third grade math class with City Year New York. I have years of tutoring experience, and I am passionate about learning and working with children.

I am a recent graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and a current first year medical student at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I began tutoring junior high and high school students in math and science as a freshman in high school, and have continued refining these skills throughout my time in college. I completed the MCAT in March 2017, and still vividly remember the study strategies that resulted in a successful score. My high school students have had great success on the SAT Subject Test in Biology, often scoring in the high 700s on their first attempt. I am available for either in person or online tutoring, depending on the distance!

I am currently a first year graduate student at Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health working towards my Masters in Public Health in environmental health sciences. For my undergraduate, I attended Fordham University and received a Bachelors degree in both biology and anthropology. I know how difficult advanced science and math classes can be on top of other studies, and I am really looking to work through these issues with potential students. I am available for sessions in biology, chemistry, physics, as well as a range of math levels. I am also available for SAT, PSAT, and ACT prep. I have ample experience with academic writing, so I can work with students through many different types of assessments. I know that the subjects I tutor can be frustrating and difficult at time, so I believe in low pressure tutoring where we can delve into the material and move at whatever pace the student needs.
