I am an attorney focused on civil litigation and am admitted to practice in the State of New York & Connecticut. I graduated from New York Law School with a Juris Doctor, and also obtained a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (focus of religion, English, and pre-law) from Southeastern University. While being able to tutor a wide range of subjects, I am most passionate about Public Speaking, English, Literature, History, Law/Government, and both Creative and Academic writing. One of my favorite things to do is helping students not only get better in a particular subject area, but also help them be better students by developing their own method of topical understanding, subject matter comprehension, and overall studying habits. My teaching philosophy stems is all about growth mindset. I don't believe anyone is inherently bad at a subject. I believe that they just haven't been taught the subject in a way that makes sense to them yet. Therefore, I encourage students to try and think about problems in new and innovative ways. I taught weekend history courses to high school students for the New York Historical Society, co-taught AP Art History at a private high school, and did gallery storytelling for children for the Met.I currently hold a BA in Art History, MA in Art History from University of Chicago, MA in Education from University of London.I moved to London in 2014 so that I could move more completely into the educational field, and started a year-long Masters in Museum Education with an emphasis in teaching the humanities.
