I am a friendly, outgoing, confident person who is ready to do anything it takes to get you to your educational goals, because I'm willing to do anything to reach mine. I can help you with your homework, help you study (or even cram) for your exam tomorrow. I've even skyped with students till 12 am the night before their exams. I can also give you supplemental problems that are perhaps a bit more challenging than typical homework problems.

I am currently a senior at Rice University. I am majoring in Economics and Biochemistry & Cell Biology. Since I am still a college student, I have taken most subjects recently so the concepts are still fresh in my mind. I really enjoy working with students and will customize my method of teaching to best cater you. I have previously tutored with Kumon Learning Center and am eager to tutor you!

I'm a rising junior studying Biochemistry and Cell Biology at Rice University. I first started formally tutoring at the beginning my senior year of high school to fill up some of my free time after school. I've always enjoyed tutoring because I frequently helped my friends in my classes and really enjoyed seeing how I could impact my friends in their own success. I definitely made the right choice my senior year with tutoring because I met some remarkable families and got the opportunity to really help students in more of a long-term scope and see the difference in their grades. I'm a big advocate for the philosophy that "practice makes perfect" and I absolutely love my students that are ready to put in work.

I'm currently attending Rice University- pursuing a double major Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Economics. As you can probably tell I'm very passionate about math, and I'm even more passionate about teaching it! I prefer to teach math a little differently than some of you may used to. Many of students think of math as a plug and chug approach- simply being given formulas and plugging numbers in. While I will give you the formulas and critical things to remember if you insist on it, I prefer to teach mathematics as a form of problem solving. How math works is a beautiful thought process- understanding how a formula was conceived is much more rewarding than simply memorizing it. But in the end it's all up to you- the student. If you want a fast run-down of everything you need to know to ace the test- I'll happily help you. However, if you're willing to think outside of the box and learn some very neat stuff, I'll open the doors to mathematical problem solving for you!

I am incredibly excited to be working with students once again! Outside of work and tutoring, I love cheering on the Green Bay Packers, exploring the city and watching the food network.

I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Neuroscience, a minor in Sociology, and a certificate in French language. I gained a great deal of tutoring experience during my time with the Penn Tutoring Center, where I tutored Cognitive Science and French. After graduation, I served as a Community Relations Coordinator at Success Academy for two years, during which I was able to practice my elementary school tutoring skills. Since I applied to 16 universities, I also have plenty of college application experience! Additionally, I am a native Spanish speaker and I am currently working on "Problem Solving and Comprehension" by Whimbey, Lochhead, and Narode to keep my standardized testing skills sharp.

I am a recent graduate of Duke University, with a Master of Science degree in Global Health. I spent the six previous years working for Novartis as a Head of Communications in the Vaccines and Diagnostics division. I joined Novartis after completing my undergraduate degree with honors in English language and literature from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California.

I am currently a junior at Rice University, majoring in biochemistry and cell biology. I am particularly interested in tutoring math, science, writing, and test preparation. I am a Rice University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Sciences and a minor in Spanish. In the fall, I plan on beginning a master's in Human-Computer Interaction at University College London. I have extensive experience helping students with Math, Writing, Spanish, and the ACT. I'm a sophomore at Rice University majoring in Biosciences and on the premed track. I've had experience tutoring students, ages ranging from kindergarten through high school. I've helped a lot of my peers with AP courses and classes in high school as a peer tutor. I also have experience helping students prepare for the ACT through Varsity Tutors. I've had students go from a 25 to 32 after 2 months of working with them. It's really rewarding to see students learn and expand their own capabilities. I truly enjoy helping others achieve their goals! In my spare time I like to play badminton and piano.
