My name is Zhupeng Li. Originally, I am from Beijing, China. I just graduated from Southern New Hampshire University. The major of my masters degree is Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I also got the Certificate of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in China.

I graduated from Western Govenor's University with my bachelor's in special education and Elementary Education. I homeschool four of my children and enjoy having the opportunity that allows them to learn in their own unique ways. I am passionate about teaching through literature and using hands on approaches. I teach ESL online to students and love watching how they make progress in their learning. I am most passionate teaching reading, writing, comprehension, phonics and ESL. My name is Olivia. I started studying French when I was in high school and fell in love with it. After a short visit to Paris with the French Club at my high school, I knew I wanted to be able to speak it fluently. I majored in French in college and spent six months living in Aix-en-Provence where I took intensive French courses and lived with a French woman. Inspired by my experience, I hoped to come back and work. After graduating in 2013 I became an English Teaching assistant in a high school and two middle schools in Tulle. I fell in love with teaching English and after I returned to the States I became a substitute teacher and pursued my TEFL certification. The following year I became a teaching assistant again and this time worked in Brive-la-Gaillarde. My time in living in France has allowed me to become fluent in French as well as having a keen understanding of French culture. I have two years of experience teaching English as a second language through my time as an language assistant.I have passion for teaching and sharing language and culture. I hope one day to become and English teacher in France .

I am an actor, artist, and teacher, with my Bachelor’s degree from Boston College, and my Master's of Fine Arts from Brown University. At Boston College, my two majors were in Theatre Arts and Theology, and at Brown, I was a part of a three year conservatory in Acting and Theatre Arts.Over the past few years I have tutored students of all ages, from the middle school level all the way to college undergraduates and even middle-aged professionals. With every student, however, I start with one simple premise: how can we be ourselves as we seek to improve in our subjects? Perhaps my favorite subjects to teach are critical writing and essay coaching, and it is crucial in these areas that we stay true to ourselves, stand behind our opinions, and use language as a powerful and persuasive tool. My job as a tutor is not to tell my students what to think, but to give them the rhetorical tools to express their opinions clearly and concisely. The same premise applies to my reading comprehension and literature tutoring. I want my students to get closer to the writer, to see how they are similar, to understand more about themselves as they work to understand the material. Of course, students should enjoy themselves in all of their academic endeavors, and I like to have fun in my tutoring sessions. As an actor I usually play the role of the fool, so when I’m teaching I like to keep the energy light and fast, while still maintaining a rigorous learning environment.When I’m not teaching or acting I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors biking, hiking, fishing, swimming - you name it, I love being outside. I also really enjoy traveling and adventuring. I've been all over the world. I've lived in Scotland, London, and Sweden, and I've visited Italy, Turkey, Switzerland, Ireland, and Canada. My spirit for adventure also makes me a great geography tutor, and I like to ignite that passion for learning and travel in my students.

I believe that a tutor's duty is to identify and cater to the individual needs and learning styles of their students. It is my goal to help my students understand new and challenging concepts in such a way that the information can be recalled years later.
