My name is Noah Blatt and I am currently a 3rd year student at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. I am currently pursuing a BS in Mechanical engineering as well as a BA in International Studies with a concentration on Latin American Development. My studies have given me a proficiency in the Maths and Sciences as well as History, Government, and the Spanish language.I have been tutoring for around 5 years now, having started during my second year of high school and continued on through college. During high school I tutored other students (ages ranging from 11-18) through the National Honors Society and in university I occasionally tutor students on Saturdays through a local Church. This experience has made me adaptive to individual students needs as well as taught me how to best help students by changing my methodology to their individual needs.Much of my free time is spent volunteering and playing an active role in my fraternity. I volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation, YMCA, as well as with smaller organizations and causes in and around Cleveland. In my fraternity I hold and have held several positions, primarily regarding event programming as well as membership development. I also enjoy traveling, with my most recent adventure being a semester abroad in Santiago Chile.

6th Grade AP Language Composition Tutor • +52 Subjects
Hi I'm Sunay, I'm from Cleveland and currently a Junior at Emory University majoring in Finance and Information Systems. I've previously worked at the Harvard Management Company and will be joining Bank of America as a investment banking analyst in New York. As a current virtual ACT and peer tutor and volunteer tutor for underprivileged students, I have gained experience in instilling important research, writing, analytical, and mathematical skills in my students. I'm happy to help students with Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Geometry, Precalculus, and AB Calculus. I'm also happy to help students editing, writing, or outlining essays for any AP or regular English class or for college essays. In the foreign language department, I'm happy to help Spanish students in Spanish 1 through 3. In science, I'm happy to help students currently studying AP Biology, Physics Honors, and AP Statistics. Finally, anyone needing help with ACT, SAT or PSAT Prep should come to me as I've helped students raise their scores in all sections and have achieved National Merit on the PSAT. In my free time, I'm an avid scuba diver (Galapagos, Iceland) and enjoy playing tennis with friends.

I earned my bachelors degree at Ohio State University and I am currently working towards my masters degree in education from Cleveland State University. Right now I'm working full time as a research associate at a biotech company in Cleveland, but I've been tutoring part time since my early college years. I've also spent a lot of one-on-one time with students while coaching high school sailing and instructing summer camps.I am strongest at tutoring math and science. My favorite class to tutor is calculus, also the most challenging. I can help with AP, SAT, and ACT standardized test prep. I am also certified as an Assistant Lab Animal Technician through AALAS. I have a bunch of study tips, test taking strategies and general plans for success in school that look forward to sharing with students.I like to view school work holistically - for example, if we're stuck on the geometry chapter focused on circles, let's make sure we fully understand the preceding topics before we dive into the new one. Also, if we're stuck writing a paper, let's make sure we did the necessary research, outline, and planning before we put pen to paper. And most importantly, I try to impress upon students that sleep, stress levels, and overall wellness can be sneaky factors that inhibit students abilities to succeed.

I am currently working towards a BS in Music Education at Case Western Reserve University. In the past I have worked with middle school orchestra students at an arts summer camp, where I was a volunteer Teacher's Assistant. During this camp I ran sectionals with small groups of students and sat in with the violinists to help individual students in large group rehearsals. I have some tutoring and organization experience by working with my high school's chapter of the California Scholarship Federation, where we offered free tutoring to other high school students. I am most passionate about tutoring algebra and pre-calculus, because I really enjoy the problem-solving aspects of math. I also tutor English and SAT prep. In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading, and practicing as many different instruments as I can get my hands on!
