I graduated from NYU's Steinhardt School of Education with my dual Masters degrees in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I am also a certified teacher for birth through 2nd grade and have my certification in Students with Disabilities. I previously attended Pomona College where I received my Bachelor of Arts in English. I have taught for two years in a preschool prior to enrolling at NYU. I am passionate about providing each child I encounter with a lifelong love of learning and curiosity. I am able to tutor all aspects of ELA in Elementary School, including reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, phonics, decoding, comprehension and more, which are my favorite to teach or tutor. In addition, I am very proficient and eager to help with all aspects of English and essay writing or editing from elementary school through college, including SAT English and College Application Essays. I love to make tutoring sessions fun with games that accomplish goals rather than rote memorization or school-like lessons and homework. I meet students where they are in their work and in terms of their interests so that they are included in the work we do together. I am a Junior at New York University's Courant institute of Mathematics and currently studying Computer Science and Data Science with a minor in Cybersecurity.
