As a medical student, I tutor because I know that we all need a little help sometime. There have been many moments as a student that I felt overwhelmed by too many facts, but in those moments I've always made it through because I found someone to talk it through with. Instead of drowning in a sea of facts, my personal learning philosophy is to find the big concepts and fill in the facts from there. I love watching students "get it"-- its exciting. Learning shouldn't be about memorization but understanding.

I am currently a student at the University of Oklahoma who has a minor in French and plans on obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and then my Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
