Hello! My name is Matthew, and I am pursuing a degree in mathematics from Gonzaga University. After three years of background in civil engineering, I elected to modify my major to continue my interest in a career in math education. I am from Tacoma, Washington, and love the west side.I believe education and tutoring must be approached from a subjective perspective, working with every student as a unique and dynamic learner. I believe that the student is the root of education, and the role of a teacher or tutor is to supplement the student's drive to help them be as successful as they can be. I also understand that math, as well as many other academic subjects, are not easy to learn or work with at first, and that the challenge is something that, with dedication and the proper support framework, can always be overcome.I love seeing students get excited about new content or a new topic that suddenly clicks, and this reward of success of others is really the driving force in my pursuit of being an educator.I'm looking forward to working with you in the future, and hope to be a part of your educational journey!

I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Emerging Media with a focus on Experimental Animation. As an animator, I had to study a wide range of art types and art programs. Whether it be principles of art or how to work certain programs, I am extremely dedicated to helping all young artists and students achieve their goals. I am extremely passionate about education and it is my goal to help you see visible improvement in your artistic abilities.

I graduated from Florida International University with a bachelors degree in Political Science. Since then, I have worked on a few political campaigns including a congressional campaign, and Im happy to say that they were all victories. I have also worked at a law firm and for a local city government. Last year, I opened a clothing boutique and that has really provided me with the flexibility to do some of the things I really enjoy doing. Now, I am able to give back and help others achieve their goals.

I grew up going between Los Angeles and Paris, always in a French school so I quickly became bilingual.I have always loved science, in particular physics and mathematics and have been lucky enough to share this with others through tutoring.
