My passion is working with teenagers and college students, but I have also tutored elementary school students and worked in a kindergarten classroom. I have worked extensively with students who have Asperger Syndrome, Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cognitive Disabilities.Before I taught, I worked part-time at the Office of Undergraduate Admission @ Northwestern University (Evanston, IL). I am also a proud alumnus of NU, and enjoyed my time there tremendously.Over the past two years, I have worked with almost 30 high school students on the ACT in my own private practice. This is extremely rewarding for me as I am passionate about the college search process, and love helping students in their journey to find their dream school!My other interests include jet-setting all over the USA (NYC and Portland, OR are my two favorites), lifting weights, wasting away in coffee shops, following American politics, and going to concerts.I look forward to working with you and answering any other questions you may have!

A National Merit commended scholar, I graduated Cum Laude as a Communications Century Scholar from Northwestern University where I majored in Theater and English. Since graduation, I have taught language arts, creative writing, and math skills to elementary and high school students across New York and the tri-state area with an arts education and media organization. I am a versatile elementary, middle school, and high school tutor who works with students in reading, writing, math, organizational skills, and test prep.
