My goal is to cater the subject to the individual so they can be motivated and successful throughout the remainder of their studies.Inside the classroom my favorite subjects are mathematics and any related quantitative learning. Logical problem solving has always been one of my strengths and I enjoy the fulfillment of finding concrete solutions. I am a strong teacher of mathematics because my understanding goes beyond the classroom since I am truly passionate about the field. Outside of the classroom my hobbies are diverse. I'm on Columbia University's Rugby Football Team and enjoy boxing and playing basketball when I have the time. I believe a well-rounded life is very important to success. I cherish the time I get to socialize with friends or go to concerts. I believe my outgoing nature allows me to create an inviting environment for all of my clients where we can learn together as we learn about one another.

I graduated from Cornell where I majored in Latin before beginning my pre-medical post-baccalaureate studies at Columbia. I greatly enjoy helping students of all ages to understand concepts, just as I have at Columbia where I would frequently guide my fellow peers through physics problems. I want to help students feel the "Ah ha!" moment of grasping a concept and breaking complex problems down to simple solutions. As a former swimmer and triathlete, I enjoy keeping physically fit. In my spare time, I enjoy playing guitar as well!

I am a Nigerian-American filmmaker and writer splitting my time between the industry hubs of New York and Lagos. With an MFA from Columbia University and representation at CAA and M88, I bring real-world industry experience directly to my tutoring sessions. My work has taken me to the Sundance Cultural Impact Fellowship, the Toronto International Film Festival's Director's Lab, and the sheer heights of global cinema. I have produced for international stars like Ayra Starr, written and directed for Tyler perry Studios, and developed projects supported by the Facebook Future Filmmaker grant. But at my core, I am a storyteller who values empathy above all else. I mentor students in Screenwriting, Creative Writing, Film Production, and Media Studies. I previously worked as a pharmacist, so I bring a methodical, analytical approach to the creative process. I'm a history fanatic, and I've been reading history books for fun since I was four years old. I graduated with a B.A. in history from Columbia in 2004, with a focus in Nigeria.I specialize in learning how to write a history (or English) term paper, how to prepare for a history (or English) test, and how to read long dense history (or English) documents and understand them.My goal as a tutor is to make myself obsolete. My students will learn history facts, but they will also learn general patterns of how to write a paper, or how historical events work. Eventually my students will no longer need me.
