I am senior at the University of Michigan studying robotics and electrical engineering. I have worked as a robotics teacher for elementary students and I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience. While I tutor primarily in math, I also have experience using robotics as a tool to teach other subjects in order to engage students who love STEM from an early age without letting them fall behind in reading or grammar. Having been a student during the pandemic and a tutor through all stages of reopening, I understand how difficult it can be to learn online, so I make it a priority to be animated and engaging, going back to basics if necessary, and leave my students more comfortable to tackle problems on their own by the end of a session.

My favorite subject, mathematics, has a variety of applications in how we live our lives. But most importantly, it reminds me of our their is always more than one way to find the solution to a problem. I hope to get students engaged in the subject we discuss and expand their understanding.

I have completed my teaching certification exams which allow me to be certified in the state of Florida. I personally love learning, and my goal is always for students to find joy and excitement in learning new things as well! This is my true passion, as teaching students with disabilities is what I am pursuing my career in, and what I love to do. I am now certified in Florida for Math 5-12, including financial literacy, and Business Education and Marketing.======================July 2020:I have been tutoring elementary and middle/high school math for the past 2 years and teaching Business Education in the Miami Dade public schools for the past 15 years as an advisor for the Junior Achievement program in Entrepreneurship.
