I am a graduate of Williams College. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Since graduation, I have worked a wide variety of jobs: organic farm manager, solar panel installer, sous chef at a renowned restaurant, founder of a music cooperative in downtown Phoenix and, most recently, multi-instrumentalist in a band that tours all over the world. Obviously, my interests are broad. I view every personal endeavor as a fundamentally educational experience. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, literature, history, philosophy, and Spanish (which I learned to speak while studying philosophy in Argentina). I really enjoy working with students to sharpen written assignments. Even the best writers require editing! I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy making music, travel, and reading.

I am especially committed to supporting first-generation college students, those for whom English is a second language, and working adults as they navigate the challenges of higher ed. Nevertheless, I have taught and mentored graduate students at Harvard and talented undergrads in a variety of disciplines and welcome helping with theses. In addition to teaching, I have a background in publishing and editing, and have been a writer since childhood. Language creates reality, and interpreting and using it well opens many doors. I delight to see students realize their capacities and expand their universe.

I am a Pre-med student at Arizona State University. I have been tutoring at the university for the last year, and it has been a blast! I tutor, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics I, and some genetics. Organic chemistry is definitely my favorite subject to tutor. It was a challenging subject when I took it, but I really put my mind to it, worked my tail off and I received high marks in my courses. That's why I love it so much. I enjoy showing students that they can overcome difficult courses and challenges just like how I did, and it feels very rewarding to me.

I am a recent graduate from Arizona State University. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelors in philosophy. I will be attending the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in the fall of 2012. I have always been successful in academics and enjoy school thoroughly. I have also served as a Military Police Officer for the Arizona Army National Guard for over four years.

I'm a rising sophomore at Georgia Institute of Technology. I love teaching and got a lot of practice from tutoring my brother. Physics is probably my favorite subject to teach.

I am a graduate of Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in Geological Sciences, and also attended Graduate classes while enrolled there. Additionally, I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences from American Sentinel University in Birmingham, Alabama. I have tutored students on many occasions in a variety of subjects. My strengths, however, lie in math and science. I have worked with students of varying ages, from grade school through high school level. My greatest satisfaction is working with a student when they 'get it', understanding a concept that had been confusing or uncertain. While this can be gradual or sudden, you can really see it when it makes sense. I also enjoy helping students prepare for Standardized Tests. My goal is to help them advance, while keeping the material interesting. It is also my hope that I can help students reduce the stress they may feel when preparing to take these tests. I believe that if you continue to learn throughout your life, you will always be growing.

I have over two years of tutoring and teaching experience at Case Western Reserve University. I served as a Supplemental Instructor for ENGR 145 (Chemistry of Materials), where I created worksheets, led review sessions, and helped students develop strong conceptual foundations. I later worked as a Teaching Assistant for ENGR 210 (Circuits and Instrumentation), grading assignments and assisting students with hands-on circuit building and lab work. As a Biomedical Engineering major on the pre-med track, I specialize in tutoring pre-health and engineering courses, including General and Physical Chemistry, Math, Biology, Physics, and Anatomy and Physiology. I also provide MCAT preparation in the B/B, C/P, and P/S sections. My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations, active problem-solving, and adapting to each student's learning style. I strive to make challenging material approachable while helping students build confidence and independent learning skills.

I am a senior at ASU, majoring in Applied Biological Sciences with a concentration in Secondary Education in Biology. After I graduate in December, I hope to work as a high school biology teacher. My passion for biology developed in high school and I want to pass that love on to today's high school students.

I am a rising freshman at Duke University, where I will be majoring in Economics and Public Policy. I have extensive tutoring experience through opportunities such as Kumon, local educational summer camps, and serving with my school's National Honor Society (NHS) club. I am most passionate about helping students through classes English, Literature, and History, especially Advanced Placement (AP) courses. As a recent high school student, I hope to use my relevant experiences to help students prepare for the Reading and Writing portions of Standardized Tests (SAT, PSAT), as well as to tackle the college admissions essay. I am a firm proponent of the value of education, and believe it to be crucial in allowing for a brighter and better future.

I am a third year medical student at Midwestern University (D.O.). I graduated from Arizona State University Summa Cum Laude with a double major in biology (B.S.) and psychology (B.S.) in addition to graduating from the honors college with a thesis on the effect of the urban heat island on hormonal regulation and development in black widow spiders. I am currently a tutor at Midwestern as well assisting first and second year students in their psychology, clinical medicine, osteopathic medicine, and pathology courses. I have also taught a course on medical ethics to first year medical students.

I am a graduate of the Creighton University School of Medicine where I received my M.D. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Philosophy at Marquette University in 2018. During my time at Marquette, I tutored General Biology and General Chemistry, and I was a teaching assistant for Organic Chemistry lab. Not only did I enjoy teaching students my age, but I also pursued teaching opportunities for younger students in high school and middle school. I was a gross anatomy instructor for high school students taking tours through the cadaver labs and I was one of the founders of the Marquette Brain Brigade, where a group of undergraduate students came up with demos/lessons in neuroscience to teach middle school students. Moreover, I sought out private tutoring opportunities at a company called Huntington Learning Center both during undergrad and during medical school where I tutored a wide variety of subjects, including ACT/SAT, for virtually all age groups. I am very comfortable teaching various subjects and ages, and I am a laid back and flexible person. The subjects I am most comfortable teaching would be the sciences anywhere from the basic level to graduate school level. I am so grateful for the educators that allowed me to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor, and I would love to pass it on and help younger students achieve their goals.
