I am an Arizona native. Upon graduating from Desert Mountain High School, I attended Rice University and I received my Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with a business focus. At Rice I was a student/athlete representing the Division I Owls in track and field. After several years experience voluntarily tutoring friends and family members I became a professional private tutor my junior year of college. My senior year, I took advantage of the opportunity to reach more students, creating a small private tutoring company in Houston in which I served as lead tutor and conducted all business operations.After graduating from college, I moved back to Arizona and am excited to have the opportunity to continue my passion of helping young men and women achieve academic excellence through tutoring. I have experience tutoring elementary through college-aged students in all academic disciplines. My primary areas of focus include: math, English, and standardized test prep.In my spare time I enjoy exercising, following sports, and spending time with friends and family.

I am a recent graduate of SUNY at Oneonta, where I studied mathematics and adolescence education. I have much experience through my coursework and experiences there, having tutored students ranging from middle school to college sophomores. In addition, I have a background of experience in the classroom, having completed a semester of student teaching and over one hundred hours of in-classroom participation and observations. I enjoy tutoring students in all subjects of math. My tutoring approach is to guide the students to the solution of each problem. I seek to develop the student's knowledge of the subject by building connections between what the student knows and what they have yet to learn. I am adamant that any student can be successful academically with the right support and teaching. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music and collecting vinyl records, reading about and studying history, cooking, and playing board games.

From there, I went to Youngstown State University in Northeast Ohio and obtained my teaching degree in grades 4-9 math, social studies, and reading.I have taught in the classroom (online and in person) 5 years to date with my degree and several more before I graduated, ranging from Kindergarten all the way up to 9th. Nothing can ever replace the the memories of each and every student that has walked through my door. I truly believe every student can learn, given a welcoming environment that allows them to try new things, fail at others, and explore the world around them.Currently, I am teaching 8th grade Algebra and general mathematics as well as a Life Skills Math course in a district in Ohio. I love the small town feel, and it's a new challenge everyday.I love to teach math. Something about arriving at the right answer makes me feel complete after seeing all my hard work scribbled down on a board. Social studies is another passion of mine. We wouldn't be where we are today without where we've been and what we have learned from it. Social studies also nurtures map as well as money and finance skills in our everyday life.I look forward to working with new students/clients and assisting them with their work!

I grew up in Indiana, and moved to Georgia about six years ago. I enjoy running, playing guitar, and watching sports. I have taught fifth and sixth grades, and have helped tutor students from third to fifth grade. I graduated from Brooklyn College with a BA in English Education and Philosophy. I have been studying for standardized tests and SATs since 3rd grade.I have taught various grades ranging from 2nd grade to 12th grade in Math and English (Reading and Writing ). I have done private in-home tutoring for about 4-5 years and in a group setting for about 2 years.

I have always loved mathematics. Someday I will obtain my PhD in that subject. My school background is rough since I was born with a hearing disability. I was not the best academically, but I was involved in soccer. This hardship increased due to procrastination. Procrastination is a nasty habit that haunts everyone. That is more reason why I should tutor others. I have a deeper understanding why students struggle in their subjects. I know where the roadblocks are and how to overcome them. I no longer have trouble hearing ever since I undergone ear surgery and changed my life dramatically. I still feel like I am playing catch up, but that seems not to be the case in all areas. Everyone is playing catch up in at least one area of study.

I have experiences in tutoring most science courses, such as math, chemistry, and physics. I am really good at math-statistics related subjects.

An energetic and passionate math and physics tutor with an approach focusing on conceptual awareness as well as developing quick and creative thinking. I am not only focused on creating a productive environment but encouraging creative learning in STEM and finding joy and energy in those subjects.I am an electrical engineering graduate from the University of Illinois (2017). On a technical level, I focus on mathematics, especially linear algebra, differential equations, and calculus up until multivariable; I subsequently also have experience in all math levels below those. My EE background also means expertise in circuit theory and electromagnetics, covering most of E&M physics.

I am a certified General Ed and Special Ed teacher in my state. My degree is in Mathematical sciences so I have a good knowledge of the content. I work in a high school teaching freshmen to juniors. I will take all the time necessary to ensure you understand all the content. Patience is key and that is a skill that I possess. I can teach a few different subjects in math but Algebra 1 is something I feel I have truly mastered in my years teaching. I believe that students learn by doing and actively participating rather than through lecture format. I am looking forward to working with you!
