I am a student at Arizona State University in the biomedical engineering department. I will be earning my Bachelor's degree in May of 2015 and beginning my master's degree in biomedical engineering in August 2015. The research that I have been working on is studying more direct routes of drug delivery within the body as well as developing code for counting cells. I received my Bachelor's of Science from Arizona State University. I have a true love and devotion for the subject of math, specifically algebra. There is nothing like it out there. I am a Computer Science major currently enrolled in the Barrett Honor's College at ASU. I went to high school at Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, AZ. I specialize in most subjects related to math... subjects such as: Algebra (1 & and 2), Honors Pre-Calc, AP Calculus AB, PSAT Mathematics, and SAT Mathematics.I am passionate about these subjects, and seek to assist students who are struggling so that they can achieve the success they desire... and to make the experience a little more enjoyable along the way!

I am a biomedical engineer working in orthopedic research. My degree is from Arizona State University in Biomedical Engineering. I have experience helping people learn in many different stages of life, from age 3 to adults, including preschool, elementary, middle school, as well as high school students. I love math and science and I love sharing that love with other people. Technology is also a passion of mine and I have experience helping people get up to speed with helpful skills for the professional environment.As a tutor, I believe that everyone benefits from encouragement - so many times the barrier to learning is confidence! Students often know more than they realize, and I like to guide the student in the process of discovering their own natural talents. I like to teach using questions and supporting students through active problem solving from the beginning.I recently moved to the Twin Cities from Arizona and I love exploring the outdoors while hiking and running around the lakes, enjoying the new climate and the new plants and animals. I also enjoy meditation and yoga. I'm a life long learner, always pursing interesting new ideas in science and medicine. I'm especially an anatomy nerd.

I received my BSW with a psychology minor in 1999. I then received my MSW in 2004 and am currently working on my DSW. I hold my LCSW. I have taught Chinese children and youth ESL online. I like to be hands-on in order for the student to learn better, but I will gear my tutoring to however the student learns. I tutor LMSW/LCSWs to pass the exam and BSW and MSW social work students.
