I am a rising Sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. I graduated at James E. Taylor High School as rank 7 out of over 600 students and swam for my high school swim team for 4 years. Currently, I'd say I'm most experienced in math and science and above average in English and would feel most comfortable teaching any of these subjects. I'm welcome to any other subjects and will try to provide the best tutoring services for you.

I am a sophomore at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, majoring in music and computational biology. I have always had a passion for teaching, and have experience tutoring students in a wide range of grade levels and subjects throughout my years in middle school, high school, and my freshman year at MIT through the Academic Teaching Initiative. I hope to help, and have had past success in helping, students succeed at whatever their goals may be; improved grades, improved standardized test scores, even college admissions. I hope to not only aid students in reaching checkpoints, but also to give them the personal interest in their material and the curiosity to help them move forward and continue to succeed in the future. The majority of my experience lies in tutoring middle school and high school math, middle school science, and biology, but I am also qualified to tutor high school science, a large number of AP exams, the PSAT, and the ACT. Given my current status as an undergraduate student, I am also uniquely able to offer mentoring and advice to any student interested in student life in college and college admissions. More than anything, I strive to be an approachable and reliable tutor whom my students feel that they can be comfortable with, because it is when a student is aware that their teacher is on their side that they feel comfortable thinking and asking questions in the ways that will help them grow. In my free time, I study music and vocal pedagogy, practice makeup artistry, and watch films.

I am a singer-songwriter and I also help other local artist by leasing my home recording equipment which affords me with ample opportunities to interact with a wide variety of people.

I am a award winning writer and published author who loves the written word, and I love incorporating education with creative writing and thinking to meet student goals.

I am also studying music at Yale, where I have taken rigorous courses in music theory, musicianship, and piano performance. I would be able to tutor in those subjects as well. I currently have a 4.0 GPA at Yale. Hobbies: art, movies, books, running, reading, music, writing

I am extremely passionate about literature, music and the performing arts. I have been trained in Hindustani Classical Music for 10 years, I was president of my University Drama Club and also my School Debate Club and I am usually the go to person when there is want of poetic expression.

I'm a Software Engineer at Dick's Sporting Goods and a student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Computer Science. I strongly believe in the education of technology driven academia for the young. It is my mission to ensure that any youth who wishes to be educated in a STEM field have that opportunity.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in political science and German with a focus on international relations and twentieth century totalitarian regimes. I received my Master of Arts in Public Policy Management with a focus on energy policy, particularly unconventional hydrocarbons like shale gas. During my undergraduate studies, I spent 6 months living in Berlin, Germany as part of a full-immersion language acquisition program. Professionally, I spent almost a decade as a small business owner, operating my own financial planning firm. I decided to return for higher education because of a deep interest in energy markets, developed during my career as a financial advisor. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Economics (particularly microeconomics), Political Science, History, and Math. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests like the GRE, I have seen the most success assisting students in understanding the logic of these exams, how they have been constructed, and what the best approach for leveraging that knowledge is. I have a deep commitment to education. Education is necessary not just for establishing employable skills, but more importantly to create an informed population. In my spare time, I enjoy blacksmithing and knifemaking, playing my drums and guitar, listening to a wide array of music, and spending as much time as possible with my family.
