I am a graduate student at the University of Arizona seeking a PhD in English Literature. I previously received my BA in English with a focus in Professional Writing from St. Catherine University. As part of my role as a grad student, I also work as a Graduate Assistant Teacher. I teach writing composition and American and British literature courses.
I have experience teaching students with varying proficiency levels, including some whose first language isn't English. I believe in meeting students where they are at in order to help them develop and refine their writing, editing, and reading comprehension skills. Writing and reading comprehension are two incredibly valuable skills, both inside and outside of the classroom, and I hope to help students become more comfortable with using those skills.
