I currently hold 3 degrees and two professional certificates. My degrees include an Associate degree in Computer Science from Florida State College at Jacksonville, a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from University of North Florida and a Masters in Finance from Patten University. I am a certified project manager and a certified scrum master. I am a financial representative licensed to sell life insurance, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and variable annuities.
I have tutored children from the age of 4 to adults in both reading, math, and finance.
My favorite subject to teach is reading because it opens up a whole new world to the student. I also like to teach finance because we earn money and spend money, but we don't really know how to manage it and make it work for us.
I enjoy reading, spending time at the beach or near water and traveling My goal is to visit all 50 states. Currently I have visited 32.
My teaching philosophy is that I believe that everyone can achieve their goals when given a chance to learn in a positive and engaging environment. Each student has a unique way of learning and my goal is to help them find the best method to succeed.
