I am a graduate of Boston University with a B.A. in Physics and a minor in Mathematics.
I have already had experience teaching high school students in the subject of AP physics in a laboratory setting, ranging from groups of 3-6 students.
Along with physics, I will also be tutoring in math, with focus on standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT tests.
I greatly enjoy teaching both math and physics, since they both focus on getting a fundamental understanding of how the world works. It is fascinating to see how complex phenomena in life can be reduced down to a single equation, and I wish to impart that same view to my students.
Coming from such a background I know just how important it is to understand the basics before moving forward. This is especially true in math and the sciences, and it is essential to build upon previous lessons to truly learn.
In this way, the lessons I teach would incorporate previous material even when presenting new topics.
