Being a peer advisor at a community college and being a proctor at Sacramento State, I am confident in my ability to help students who are struggling with their academics. With Kinesiology as my major, I have taken a lot of classes that are challenging and difficult. Over the years, I have been accustomed to those kind of classes. However, I did not get this far by myself. I also had a help of a tutor to succeed and to rise over my hardships. I want to take this opportunity to help students and, hopefully, to decrease the stress and the pressure they feel from having a long laboratory report or three midterms in a week or a bunch of homework due on the same day.
