I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Findlay, where I double majored in Animal Science and Biology as well as minored in Chemistry. Afterwards, I earned my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have tutored throughout my time at both Findlay and Madison, focusing mostly on courses such as biology, anatomy and physiology, physics, and working on writing skills. I enjoy seeing my students progress, and particularly feel proud when we make a breakthrough in a concept that has proven to be difficult. I tend to work better with students in high school or older. My free time is typically filled with reading novels and journal articles, taking Coursera courses, cooking, and riding my horse.
I do currently work full-time as a veterinarian, and as such, request that students be flexible in their schedules as mine varies week to week.
