I am a recent graduate from University of San Francisco. There, I attained my Bachelor of Arts in Architecture & Community Design, with a minor in Architectural Engineering. I have been tutoring and working with students all throughout college. I have worked at Sylvan, Kumon, and for America Reads. I worked with students ranging from grades K-5, where I specialized in mostly Math and Reading. At my America Reads job, I not only tutored my students, but I was also there to watch over them and play with them during their breaks. My favorite subject to tutor is reading because from my experience, it will often interest and engage them. I am patient with students, and I believe that is important because every student learns in a different way, some faster than others, some slower than others. I have learned to suit the learning styles and adapt towards each unique student. Outside of academia, I love art, specifically sketching and am currently learning to paint. I feel that it is important to sketch a little bit everyday to exercise the right side of the brain.
