Thank you for checking out my profile. I hope you will find me to be the person to help you - whether you want to master your subject, just pass the class or only complete the assignment on time!

My goal as a tutor is to help you take command of your learning by understanding context and relevancy. Make the course, subject or assignment REAL and not some abstract theory. I am patient and empathetic, meaning I work to understand your barrier to learning & partner with you to learn and get where you want (or just need) to be!

I am certified by the Florida Department of Education and teach high school social sciences courses.

I am a retired attorney now living on the Space Coast in Florida. I was a practicing attorney for nearly 30 years in San Diego. I appeared in many courts from New York City to Los Angeles.

I have a bachelor's degree in Political Science & Economics from San Diego State University and a law degree from California Western School of Law. I attended the Summer Institute of Comparative Political & Economic Systems at Georgetown University. I have interned on Capital Hill for US Congressman and also US Senate field offices. I have worked for both presidential and congressional campaigns. I have decades of experience in politics, law, economics and history. I have traveled the world living in many diverse cultures.

I have been a prolific writer for years.

I have mastered both form and function in creative writing. I'm ready to help you break through your writer's block & unleash the "power of the pen" in you!

As an attorney, I have written hundreds of impeccablely creative and persuasive papers, motions and briefs on a wide range of topics. As an advocate. my job was to explain and take the mystery away for my clients, while successfully guiding them to their goals with vigorous legal representation. I do the same with my students.

I have also been a youth sports coach for many years. I know that encouragement and support leads to motivation and performance. It's a team effort. I'm here to help you reach your goal!
