I am a psychology professor at Houston Community College in Houston, Texas. I received my Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Psychology in Bratislava/Slovakia, European union. My teaching career started as an adjunct psychology professor, and I later became a full-time Visiting Faculty (Psychology) at Houston Community College. I have experience teaching and counseling students from a variety of cultural, ethnic, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds, international students, current and former military personnel, transgender students, and students with disabilities. My main teaching goal is to present the material in such way where the students will find the information relevant in their own life. I achieve participation through student-centered approach I incorporate in each of my classes. I have been teaching and tutoring General Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and English as a second language.
In my free time, I play volleyball, I like working-out, reading books and traveling.
