Hello families, my name is Teacher Tiffany! For many years now, I have been a passionate advocate for equity in early education for a variety of subjects. It is my belief, the better educated our children are, the more prepared for their futures they will be. Luckily, technology now allows many different students the opportunity for individualized help. I was prepared to educate, in part, by past experience as a pediatric psychiatry nurse. Though that experience is now behind me, the 6+ years in this field taught me much I'd like to share. For the past 3 years, I have been teaching English and English as a Second Language to a variety of age groups of students via distance learning. I am known for developing supportive relationships with my kids to help them gain more from their learning experience. It is my hope to help guide them to all the tools they will need for success. I individualize my teaching style to each student and often introduce my dogs, draw pictures as a reward, or play question games to build rapport. I find the more you meet a child at their current level of understanding of the world, the easier they will grow from that place. I look forward to meeting you.
