I'm a recent graduate of Northwestern University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a concentration in Journalism and English. At college, I wrote and edited for my school's online magazine North by Northwestern. Outside of college I've interned at nonprofit newsroom The Chicago Reporter, and an Argentine newspaper Perfil, where I wrote in Spanish.
I'm most passionate about teaching English, writing, and Spanish, which is largely due to the great teachers I learned from. As a tutor, I strive to make learning fun for students by getting to know their interests and what their goals are. I'm especially passionate about helping students become better writers, and learn that writing doesn't have to feel so tedious and lifeless.
