Hello, my name is Fernanda, and I am excited to start tutoring you! I was born in Brazil and moved to the United States during Elementary School years. While I was in school, I excelled in English, History, and Fine Arts. Not without difficulty, I might add, since I had to learn a new language, and could not receive help from my family. Later, I was able to receive credit for classes in High School, so I did not need to take them in college, allowing me to graduate early. During that time, I also had job and was able to travel abroad. Learning about the history and culture of different countries excites me, and I try to incorporate that in how and what I teach. I am a lover of receiving and giving knowledge. I will strive to understand and learn the best way to do that for each student, because I understand we all are unique and have different learning styles. It will be my pleasure to facilitate, guide, and enrich your learning journey.
