I am currently a student at the University of Washington in Tacoma, where I am expected to receive my bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Systems. While studying, I have become very proficient in a wide range of subjects such as Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, Java, and Python, and developed a passion for teaching them. Additionally, I worked with the Tacoma Urban League (a non-profit summer youth organization) as a student mentor to empower student learning and success. As a mentor, I taught Algebra, Geometry, art, and basic finance. Furthermore, I frequently tutor some of my computer science peers who may be struggling with their Java basics. My past academic and professional experiences have truly prepared me to become a certified online tutor. I believe that having a highly qualified teacher who is passionate, patient, kind, and knowledgeable is a huge factor for student success.
