About Me

I recently graduated from Brigham Young University with my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and I am working toward a graduate degree in education to teach high school. Teaching is my passion! I have always loved working with students and education is one of my highest priorities in life. I have both tutored and been tutored, so I know what it's like on both sides. Although I am qualified to tutor in many subjects, I find I am usually at my best when tutoring students in English (writing and literature), Reading, and Psychology. I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages ranging from second grade to college. I have experience with elementary, middle and high school students studying Reading, English, and Algebra. Most recently I worked as a teacher's assistant for college psychology classes. During this time I was able to hold office hours and teach exam reviews in which I explained challenging concepts. These experiences have made me very comfortable teaching and working with students. Teaching is what I love, but outside of work my hobbies include reading, singing, and baking up delicious treats!
