I am a rising junior at Case Western Reserve University. I am currently majoring in Cognitive Science and Music on the Pre-Med track. Due to the extensive nature of my majors and interest, my field of knowledge is exceptionally well rounded. I take pride in studying various subjects. Due to my varying interests, I believe I can offer a lot of help to those who need it. I am most confident in teaching subjects that relate to essay writing, academic coaching, history, and improvement with study skills. Specifically, my subjects are AP Music Theory, Academic Coaching, High School English, Middle/Elementary School Reading/Comprehension/Writing, Social Studies, Essay Editing, and College Application Essays. Due to the fact I applied to many colleges during my time as a high school senior, I truly got to know the ins and outs of the college application process. During this time of uncertainty, I would love to offer my experiences. I have also trained to prepare for college admission interviews adequately. I have assisted my peers in applying to colleges, along with mapping out the programs that are more beneficial to them. I am also pretty skilled when it comes to essay editing or writing on all levels. Due to my Cognitive Science major, I continually have to do various forms of research on topics we cover in class; this has allowed me to transfer my English background into multiple types of writing in the academic field.
In regards to my music background, I play three instruments (flute, piano, alto saxophone) and have excelled in all of my music programs. I would love to offer any tips regarding these instruments if students were interested. As a music major, I am also pretty confident in teaching AP Music Theory. I recently just finished my core theory sequence at Case Western Reserve University. Hence, I am more than capable of helping students from a beginner to the intermediate level understanding of theory. Outside of my academics, I enjoy dancing and coloring as a form of therapy. I am dedicated to helping others with the academic knowledge I have gathered over the years. I would be more than happy to assist anyone who needs it and, in return, hopes to learn from the experience as well.
