Tutoring is something I have been involved with my entire life and for the most part, without even knowing that it was happening. Whether it was teaching, or getting taught, in some way or another, my life was being changed. As Sir Francis Bacon famously quoted, "with knowledge comes power" and learning this concept early on has been life-changing. Being able to teach/correct a student that is having trouble with a concept, idea, or a lesson gives a sense of satisfaction to not only the tutor but the person being tutored. Whenever learning a difficult concept, the first thing I usually do is look it up on Google. Sometimes the answers aren't there, and sometimes they are there, but too difficult to understand. In this case, the first thing I do is send the problem to a friend and ask if they can help. Sometimes they can help, and sometimes they can't. At this point, I would wait just wait to go to class and hope that the teacher magically has the answers to that specific problem- a rare occurrence.
