I am a graduate of the University of Florida. I received my Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science. As an undergraduate, I worked as a(n):
TA for the Microbiology Department, teaching Microbiology for non-Microbiology majors;
Instructor for the Microbiology Department, teaching a Lab Skills Bootcamp;
Supplemental Instructor for the Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Department, teaching Biochemistry; and
Instructor for the Department of Medicine, researching and teaching protein production and purification
Since graduation, I have worked in medical research at the Cancer + Genetics Research Complex at the University of Florida. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am very passionate about Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Human Physiology. In my experience helping students prepare for exams, we always have the most fun once the "Aha!" moment comes and the logic behind our subject clicks. In my spare time, I enjoy activities that enrich my life, exercise, movies and football. Go Gators!
