I am a graduate of the University of Kansas. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and East Asian Studies focusing on Japanese language and literature. During my undergraduate, I tutored in Japan helping student improve their English-speaking skills. After graduation, I attended the University of Houston-Victoria where I completed courses to obtain a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology. During my masters I was able to work in the juvenile detention centers helping kids with crisis intervention and teaching independent living skills. I also have extensive experience conducting psychology assessments. I also worked at the University of Houston advising office helping college students with degree plans, papers, and any problems that the students may have had. Currently, I am studying to obtain my doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I have extensive experience in the field of psychology and East Asian studies. I am most passionate about helping students with their writing skills and believe anyone can become successful in writing with enough practice! In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, watching movies, reading, and basketball.
