I have a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science degree, Masters in Medical Genetics and Immunology and PhD in Genetics and Physiology from University of Oxford, UK. I was a research scientist at MIT and before MIT, I was scientist at Harvard Medical School, department of Genetics.
I have over 8 years of extensive experience in teaching high School to College level science classes. And prepared a number of students taking standard tests such as SAT, AP sciences, who have gone on to score very high marks. I am always excited when a student finally 'get its' and declares that they now can see how all of these seemingly separate scientific topics are actually all related. My goal in providing tutorial is not just to get through the student's materials, but to motivate the student about the learning process as a whole and provide career guidance, good organizational skills and help the student develop good learning ethics and excellent time management skills by so doing they become independent very quickly.
I love helping students to finally make connections with the material and become excited about learning regardless of the material.
Regardless of your starting level, I will work with you unlock your full potential in the subject by ensuring that I help you build a strong understanding of the concept for each subject which will help you achieve your goals. Literally all the students I have regularly tutored have gone on to enjoy their subject material because of the passion and excited I bring to the subject so that learning is fun than a chew!!
I look forward to helping you accomplish your study goals.
