I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree at Harvard College, where I will be studying biomedical engineering and government. I absolutely love both the sciences and the humanities, and I believe in the value of a diverse and well-grounded education. I've worked as a private tutor for the past few years, and I've worked with students as young as elementary school all the way up to adults studying math for the GRE. There's nothing I love more than helping a student have an "ah-ha" moment, and seeing concepts truly click and become meaningful to students. As a teacher, I emphasize deep understanding rather than memorization. I find that the best way to remember a formula is actually understanding where it comes from. I also believe it's incredibly important to guide students to figure out concepts students often don't know that they know more than they think they do! I can't wait to share my love of learning with others through tutoring! My main focus for tutoring is in mathematics, life sciences, and SAT/ACT prep.
