I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. My Masters of Teaching degree was completed through Midway University with an emphasis in Teacher Leadership and Environmental Education. Recently, I completed my second Masters degree as a Literacy Specialist through Bellarmine University. I have taught Kindergarten, first, second, third, and fifth grade students as a classroom teacher. Additionally, I have worked as an Interventionist for literacy and writing. If your child needs help with any aspect of reading, I can assess him/her in order to identify where to begin helping with targeted strategies. I am passionate about helping all students become successful and confident readers.
