I am currently a Biology student at California State University, Bakersfield. I love to talk, learn, and teach all that has to do with the natural/life sciences and I hope to one day become a professor of Biology!

I have extensive experience with education, beginning with my own, and including my 3 years spent working for the Greenfield Union School District as an after school tutor with the position of "Program Facilitator". Through my job as an after school tutor I have managed, tutored, and mentored students both ranging from Kindergarten age to middle school age, and anywhere where from 10 to 35 students at once. In addition to my professional experience as an after school tutor, I have always enjoyed helping fellow classmates and peers with topics they have ever struggled with because I enjoy helping people, as well as talking and learning myself about various topics in academia. Tutoring has always been a rewarding experience for me because I am able to help someone, and at the same time, help myself by solidifying my own grasp on the knowledge I share.

When I'm not in school, or doing school work, my hobbies include listening to music, going on long hikes in all sorts of locations, Photographing many forms of wildlife, playing guitar, playing basketball, and most excitingly, participating in active research with my mentor professor at C.S.U.B.!
