I have a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from University of the Sciences and I am currently pursuing my Masters of Science in Microbiology at Thomas Jefferson University (TJU). In addition to being a student for many years, I have had all sorts of jobs and experiences. During college, I was a teaching assistant for many science lab courses including microbiology (general and advanced), general biology, and genetics. I was also a student ambassador council member, meaning I coordinated and led tours for campus orientation events, and I was a Resident Advisor (RA) for 3 years - for the final year, I served as a Senior RA with additional responsibilities. I currently work as a lab tech at TJU in the Orthopedic Surgery Research Department, where I am also completing my master's thesis. As for my future, I plan to complete my masters in Microbiology and partake in Americorps for the year after graduation, during which I also plan to apply to medical school.
