About Me

HI, my name is Alicia and I am very excited to begin tutoring with Varsity. Education is very important to me, as I am currently pursing my second master's degree. I have worked primarily in the mental health field for the past 10 years, but most of that was in an in-school setting in which I was responsible for assisting students with their educational needs. In my last position, I served as an education paraprofessional. I also served as a teacher's assistant for two years in an elementary school. In this position, I was responsible for developing a technology instruction curriculum based on state standards, and tutoring individuals and small groups. My favorite subject to teach is math, by far! I look forward to helping you reach your educational goals!
