Discovering new ways to communicate is a passion of mine- I am conversational in both Spanish and German, and am TEFL certified to teach English as a foreign language. I started learning Spanish in primary school, and practiced my skills abroad as well as in San Antonio, Texas, where I obtained my undergraduate degree. I have a B.A. in German, and studied abroad in Berlin, Germany for seven months during college. During this time I was immersed in German language and culture. After graduating, I lived in Southeast Asia for two months, during which time I obtained my TEFL certification and taught English to children and adults. I currently work as a Teacher’s Aide at a private school, and teach debate at an after school academy in Irvine, California, where I educate students in methods of argumentation, reasoning, and public speaking. I have experience with students of all ages, and am excited to assist students in developing their language skills!
