I am currently an early childhood educator working with children ages 0-12 years. Originally I went to school to study biology and received my undergraduate degree in the field. However, I chose to pursue education and completed my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction shortly after. Helping students achieve their goals and set even higher ones thereafter is the whole reason I wanted to be a part of education; the sense of accomplishment students exhibit when they finally succeed is the greatest feeling for me personally as well.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
I strongly believe that the relationship and experiences had in education have greater influence on the future of these students’ personal growth than those experienced later in life. They are our future; they will govern the world and dictate the course of global efforts. Some of these future innovators could cure cancer or end world hunger. The key to solving these problems is locked away somewhere in these young minds waiting to be nourished. It is my job and passion as an educator to encourage the development and proper cultivation of these minds so that they are not afraid to be curious or make discoveries and mistakes. Through these means success is founded.
