I'm a recent graduate with a BSc in Chemistry from McGIll University in Canada and recently began my Masters in Architecture at the University of Colorado Denver. I began tutoring math in high school to help other student athletes stay current with material. I then tutored math and science more formally, primarily at the High School and Collegiate level, for the past 6 years. I additionally have held group review sessions and done individual standardized test prep for the ACT, SAT and GRE quantitative section. I believe in personalizing tutoring sessions and setting goals achievable together. I know every student doesn't love math or chemistry as I do, so I make sure to include games, flashcards and learning tools to keep sessions fun as well. I also enjoy helping students develop test taking strategies that utilize their skills and natural tendencies. On my own time, I love soccer, snowboarding, anything outdoors or athletic, painting, cooking and playing guitar.
