I am a graduate of the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication, where I majored in Journalism with a minor in Creative Writing. My pieces as a freelance journalist have appeared in Portland Monthly, Outside In Literary & Travel, Exiled in Eugene and Earth First! Newswire, to name a few. I tutor English, reading and writing courses, including ACT prep. While at University of Oregon, I tutored athletes in journalism, writing, English, comparative literature, and astronomy courses. I really enjoy the editing process, so I love helping students with papers, from conception to completion. As a tutor, I let the student control how to best make use of our time together.
