I have spent the last six years of my life living and working in foreign countries. From 2008 to 2012 I was working as an ESL teacher in Madrid, Spain. There I was given the opportunity to travel throughout Europe, perfect my Spanish, and enlarge my understanding of the world as a whole. After Spain, I moved to Shanghai, China where I began working as an eighth grade teacher at Shanghai High School. Having begun studying Mandarin Chinese in Spain, I continued my studies in China while working, traveling, and experiencing the wide variety of tastes, sights, and people that Asia has to offer.

Having returned back to the United States, I am pursuing a Master's Degree in International Affairs at The George Washington University. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and have grown through my own personal experiences as a teacher. I particularly enjoy working on writing, literature, and public speaking. In my spare time I study languages, play the guitar, run, and play soccer
