I have been a certfied teacher in Missouri for twenty years. My areas of expertise are Spanish and Language Arts. I have, however, tutored students in other areas such as history, social studies, learning skills, reading and composition. I also am very experienced and qualified to help with speech and drama skills.
While most of my teaching has been in both public and private schools, I also helped develop the educational program for Worldways Children's Museum. I have worked with children from ages 4 through early college years.
I take the time to know why students and develop a special program for each one. There has always been an excellent rapport between my students and with their parents. We work together for the success of the child.
I have also written a book! With others, I have established a not-for-profit organization to help people with mental illness get the treatment they need. We do a lot of public speaking and use theater to get our message across. I enjoy working with all ages and believe my personal mission is to educate.
