Relationships and engagement are two ingredients for effective learning. I am a graduate of Bowie State and Loyola University. I received my bachelors and masters degree from Bowie State (Elementary Education and Reading Education). I also have a masters in Educational Technology from Loyola. My tutoring and teaching background ranges from grades K-12; in addition to college coursework. I enjoy creating classroom environments that are established as a safe and warm community. I am passionate about teaching Reading, Math, and Writing. In my experience, I have supported students in preparing for standardized test. I have created equitable opportunities based on standards established by Common Core. I believe every person should experience quality education and I believe that I can make a positive impact on each of my students that I encounter.
