I am professional freelance saxophonist, singer & bass player based in Las Vegas. Some the artists I've played with are Trace Adkins, Boyz II Men, Al Jardine (of the Beach Boys) and Grammy nominated jazz singer Clint Holmes, and I'm the bandleader for comedian/impressionist Frank Caliendo. In addition to performing around the U.S., I am the music mentor for Opportunity Village, a non-profit that serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
I studied Theater & Musical Theater at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, graduation ing 1992. I studied jazz performance at Santa Barbara City College, and saxophone and voice with several prominent private teachers in California.
I believe music can be a rewarding and enriching pursuit, whether it is done professionally or as a hobby. Music engages the whole person, allowing them to tap into and express the entire range of human emotion and can be a tool of great empathy and communication. When a student connects with their instrument, voice or piece of music, it can be a transformative experience. Those moments of transformation are what I look for in my own career and what I want for the people I teach.

I am a huge science fiction fan (especially Star Trek). In my spare time I enjoy reading, listening to and co-hosting podcasts, hanging out in my favorite coffeehouses, and geeking out on all things saxophone.
